Touring windshield
« on: November 04, 2018, 04:46:56 AM »
I'm thinking about going to Los Angeles and Las Vegas on my grand Vista 250 (about 700 miles, 2-3 days).  It's the longest I'll have riden on such a small engine.  Any recommendations on aftermarket windshields?  Will the OEM suffice?

I wear a drop down full face shield helmet , gloves and a lined leather jacket...and accept the wind from my GV250 stock windscreen. I doubt you would do much better with an after market screen but maybe some one out there has found one. Anyone?

Just found this older post on windshield replacements...

Found a company in Europe on eBay that ships to the U.S. so I ordered one... appears to include the mounting hardware... my Grand Vista is a 2009 and the ad says it fits up to 2007. Hope there's no difference and works for mine. Almost cost an arm and a leg to see... Here's the link...

My new windshield arrived from Italy, yaaaa!!

Box seems in good shape and it looks very well packed.

But the boss told me I can't open it 'til Christmas -- it's her present to me!!

Dang!!

Maybe if I gave her one now ... we could do an early exchange? Please?!
