Getting a Kymco?
« on: February 25, 2019, 07:04:45 AM »
I'm new to the forum so thought I would pop in and say hello.

Not actually a Kymco owner yet, the local dealer is having trouble getting a 2018 150i for me. Apparently, there has been some trouble with the fuel injection and that's why he can't get one. Hoping it gets sorted out soon. The 150i looks like a great scooter, I've owned a Buddy 125 and it was fine, but the Kymco looks nicer!

I saw someone in the forum mention a service manual for the 150i but I didn't see where to get it. Does anyone how where to get one?

Hello and welcome!
What country is having trouble getting the new LIKE, " due to EFI issues."??
All 3 of my area dealers here in SW Ohio have them on the showroom floor.
No member owners have reported an issue with the EFI.

You s'pose his dealer is giving him a pantload?

He is in Eugene, OR so his dealer is covering for muffing the order!

That’s a bunch of bologna.  Maybe they just can’t get any 2018’s now (my dealer sold out of all of them) and they only have 2019’s.  Said they would love to have more of the 2018’s since they are/were slightly cheaper but can’t.  I haven’t had any issues with my 2018 (love it). Can they get you a 2019?  (Price is up $200 for non noodoe model)

There are no 2018 Like 150's available from Kymco USA, sold out. If you are in the USA, your dealer can possibly find one for you at another dealer who may want to transfer it. Then again, the dealer may not want to.
2019 Like 150 ABS (Blu or Red) will be available in April 2019
2019 Like 150 ABS NoeDoe (Gray or White) will also be available sometime April.

Only issue my dealer in SW Ohio has with Kymcos --- is keeping them dusted and tires inflated.
