Kymco would be making a mistake by not offering this model in the USA.
If I was ready to purchase a new Kymco, the S would be it. It appears to be a rebaged GTI. I have owned a GTI for a few years and love it.

Probably photoshopped pic. I have one of me in a bath tub on 2nd stage of Eiffel Tower.
Scooter sales being so pitiful in N America these days -  doubt we'll be getting this scooter. Stepthrough scooters are huge sellers in Europe --- but probably not zoomy enough for our shores.
Our major parts house has closed....hope Kymco doesn't decide to pull the plug altogether.

The S would be plenty zoomy. It has the same engine as the GTI and Downtown, 300cc. My GTI will do over 90 in the flats. Enough for me.
From my standpoint, it seems scooter manufacturers are their own worst enemy. Few reputable dealers, lack of parts suppliers, and if they have a good scoot, they discontinue asap.
Must have a bunch of idiots running these companies.
Seeing more and more scooters in my area the last five years or so.

Well, I meant "zoomy" looking.....
Step throughs look like scoots for seniors who can't do a leg over, any longer!
Old guys buying scooters don't want to look like an old guy riding a scooter.....and young guys don't buy scooters. It's a heck of a tough market.
Just glad I could sneak a couple of good scooters into my house before they figured out N. America ain't worth the effort!
(there's a low mileage Honda NSS300 still out there for $3500 !!!---- Honda quit altogether in the USA on anything but small pricey scoots)

Stig…..riding a pair of step-thrus and not giving a hang!
