Xtown info center buttons
« on: March 18, 2019, 03:58:08 PM »
There is a guy, Keith Richter on Kymco Riders of America (facebook), that has some legitimate questions about the three control buttons below the LCD screen. I have sent PM's to the owners I could identify here and ADVrider.com asking how their buttons work since the Owner's Manual does not seem to pierce my senior moments measured in days...

So I am asking all within range hoping to fins an answer before Kymco discontinues the Xtown 300i !

Mode/Func(tion)/Reset are the three. I am guessing that Mode held for three seconds or more shifts between kilometers and miles. I am guessing Func(tion) pushed or held switches the display among Air Temperature, Range, MPG, etc. And Reset zeroes whatever is displayed. But that is only a guess. Be a sport! Tell all how this excellent panel works!

Re-examined owners manual to finf that if both Mode and Reset pressed simultaneously for 3 seconds the display will change from metric to miles.
