Lift up the seat, find trans linkage connection, remoce small C clip so trans can be shifted manually. With ignition on but engine not running move trans arm into each gear position then adjust the trunion link until it matches the trans arm. Low and reverse are the extreme ends of travel so work on those 2 to get a happy medium. Trans uses a spring loaded shift fork so no matter how well the linkage is adjusted it will always be difficult to change gears. We have all learned to not use park unless needed and to shift gears while tires are barely moving just before a complete stop. Hope this helps.....
