Engine swap
« on: May 28, 2019, 10:39:29 PM »
The crankshaft on my Sento 50 broke, so I'm looking for a complete used engine to replace it.  Does anyone in the Kymco community know if  the 50cc Kymco Agility engine will fit in a 50cc Kymco Sento frame?  The engines look similar, but I'm shopping on eBay and it's hard to tell from the photos if they're exactly interchangeable.  My reason for asking is that there's lots of Kymco Agilitys being parted out, but very few (as in none) Sentos.

I am fairly certain the Sento is a short case engine, so the Agility engine won't fit. But the best way to find out is to see if they take the same drive belt. If they do, it's the same engine. If they don't, it's not.
Been riding for a very long time.

Actually, it's easiest to simply measure with a tape measure, but eBay vendors won't do either.  We have to know beforehand whether it will fit or not.  I know the Sento is a short-case engine, but I have no idea what the Agility is since it appears to be an America-only model.
