Login question
« on: June 07, 2019, 07:16:11 AM »
When I try to login with my new PC using my name & pwd, Kymco Forum responds:"You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings."

Anyone have any idea what this means?

I had same problem. just download an older version from apkmirror.com. uninstall the problem version, install the downloaded version. sign in to Tapatalk. all good.

Not sure what Tapatalk would have to do with your PC logging in, xsel, could you elaborate on that?
I have had issue with tapatalk like that & just ended up removing the forum and readding it (then logging back into it from scratch), but those had nothing to do with any other devices I had that were not using tapatalk (including a browser on the same phone).

Far as the problem jjoseph is having goes, this could be a browser or security software setting.
Any specifics on that?

The problem was only with kymco forum.  " network error",and  can't login in.
On android phone.

My preference is to use an older version of Tapatalk, to minimise ads.

Somehow auto update got enabled.
so, that is off now.

A lower version won't usually downgrade an installed version, effectively making the uninstall necessity, but this is not an actual train smash, as if signed back into Tapatalk with the same credentials, all your previous forums will just reappear.

I did not think for one nano second that the kymco forum module in Tapatalk was the issue, rather, kymco forum had been hacked, was down again.

It has been my experience, that Tapatalk upgrades have a tendency to break communications with the forums, and that was especially apparent to me when I was trying to join a local scooter group, and the admin was swearing blue murder at how Tapatalk did things.

My Pc logged in with zero issues, so can't comment on a non-issue.

I was referencing the OP's issue, so was baffled by a response regarding tapatalk.

Well that was weird.
I missed that totally, as I had actually just resolved the Tapatalk issue  the day before.
So, saw, what I wanted to see.

To clear up website logon issues, I would try another browser.
If it works then original browser needs a fix.
Then clean the cache of the browser using a tool like ccleaner for windows.

In fact ccleaner, is like an old warship Canon broadside , and will even speed up your pc a bit.
