To my fellow greasy fingered gearheads -

I just discovered that accupuncture needles appear to be perfect for poking clean the finest jets in any carburetor. I know someone who does accupuncture and she happened to mention that she has to dispose of any needle used once, and also has to toss the remainder in an open package of 10. They are stainless steel, and stiff but springy, like a very fine guitar string, but with a handle. Of course they are sharp, so don't poke yourself in the eye.

You can but them on Ebay for next to nothing. 50 of them cost $1.25, direct from China
