Different tools needed for a Piaggio
« on: June 12, 2019, 01:11:05 AM »
The official Liberty150i ABS service manual shows the techs using a lot of L shaped Torx wrenches.
The pretty comprehensive tool kit which accompanies the scooter has a 'screwdriver' with the two oft' used Torx sizes.
However, the scooter's factory-shot Torx fasteners are very often beyond what this little screwdriver can deal with.
Picked up this full set from ebay for @$12, shipped quickly.

Strange to me to find Torx screws all over my new scooter - rather than the customary phillips.

Tossed this set under the seat.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

What a blessing! Torx more better than Phillips, joe!

I prefer torx over philips because the latter slips too easily, especially with impact drivers.
