I was just wondering if they had replaced the front tire due to damage.

Don't sweat the OEM tires - they really are just fine for both wet and dry traction.  I ran them through 2 years of use including lots of rain and even some snow and never had any traction issues.

Their weakness is that they start to lose effectiveness after you get some miles on them - but you have a long way to go on them still.

In other words, I wouldn't make changing them a priority right now.

But...if I could swap that front one out, I'd do it in a second! The back one's not so bad, but the front one bugs me every time I look at it.

Aw, no problem, wordslinger. This is not your fault. In the end I also thought the newer scoot would be the better option. Logically it made more sense. This was my fault for being naive in thinking that a Dealer would make it 100% road ready before a sale.

And I really appreciate all the help getting the A50 straight!!
