On the interstate today. H e a v y highway patrol presence on this national holiday - to keep us from maiming as many as we'd like.
Saw a motorcycle riding State Trooper pulling over a speeder on I-675. (backed up by another Ohio Patrolman)
This is the first motorcycle patrolman I have seen in 35 years!
Pretty cool - though didn't catch what he was riding. Wonder if he was riding stealthily.
However, he lit up with plenty of blue lights when making the stop.
(Wish the State had more $ to field more patrolmen. 2 days ago another local drunk killed an out of state traveler on I-70. Witnesses said the drunk was driving at least 100mph in the dark. The prosecutor released him after 24 hours....pending grand jury. Killed one, maimed one, one other injured. Took him 1/4 mile to stop. Released. Illegal to wear earplugs.....)
