Looking for new rear shocks

I have a 2004 People 150 with 19k miles. The rear shocks no longer do their job. What are my options for after market shocks at ~$150 for a pair. I would appreciate any ideas.

There's not much aftermarket support specifically for older Kymcos. Might want to take one off and measure then search for replacement scooter shocks of the same/similar dimensions

Then...the stock shocks lasted 18yrs, if you can't find some aftermarket ones suited to the weight of your scooter with typical rider.

Do those stock shocks have adjustments? If so, have you tried that?

The trick is in finding the correct size - both ends - and length - and weight rating.
I began looking to replace my LIKE's rudimentary rear shocks soon after purchase!
I had no luck getting the guys in the Philippines to tell me what they were using - those that did were standing next to their scooter. And either the LIKEs sold in the Philippines are much much bigger than mine - or I'm asking an apple about oranges!

What I did was - stayed off crap roads.
I choose my routes by the road surfaces.

FYI: the "mono shock / 14" wheel combo" on my Liberty rides so much better than my LIKE. And the scooter weighs nearly the same as my LIKE. (want a good ride? - buy a 500lb scooter like a Burgman)
