We don't live in Israel - or ride in the conditions & climate which your scooter faces in your country.
Yes, might be wise to follow the service schedule published for your country.

Before I purchase a scooter - I look at the service schedule, parts availability, parts prices, and ease of self servicing......as being a big part in my decision to purchase.
Others of course will suggest that your service schedule is simply an unnecessary attempt to get $$ from you.

Follow makers recommendation, unless you like walking and extra expense.

It appears fine, but the only way to make sure is to measure the belt width as mentioned above. Belts can last up to 25,000km but it's risky. There is also a chance the drive pulley nut can come loose, that's why they recommend to change the belt at 20,000km as well as inspect the rollers and sliders.

I change belt as recommended by Kymco.
I am in several situations every day where it would be a really bad idea to have a belt snap.

in the international manual- every 20k km.

the Weather in israel is not so different than the Weather in Florida.

I think whoever wrote the Israeli book is a little exaggerated.

Heat might be getting to them?😊
No such thing as dry heat in Florida.....always figured the middle east had very dry heat.
Belt life is a hot topic. Opinions and theories abound regarding scooter servicing.  Sometimes they seem to be  influenced by cost and the effort needed to do a change.
But one won't often be walking if following  scooter service manual for parts renewals.

Israel has several types of heat, near the sea there is extreme heat and high humidity, in the region of 60% -50% in July-August, in the desert part of Israel, there is relatively low humidity, in the region of 30% -40%.
The mountainous area of Israel, which also includes Jerusalem, has relatively low humidity but in winter there can be snow.

An amazing country, come and visit.

What will you do with a shotgun in Israel?
Not as dangerous here as it seems in the media, although there are occasional events that Arabs decide to try to murder Jews, but it does not happen in central Israel
