orange MotoVision Philips bulb in LIKE200i
« on: September 04, 2019, 08:21:25 PM »
At 35W - the LIKE suffers a bit at night.
About a 6yr old Low beam - good enough for known routes, at my speed of @35mph.

Always found the brights to be somewhat useless, unless climbing a hill.

Been using this bulb for a few years. it does have a touch of orange color when viewed from the front. Which is supposed to make me stand out a bit in city traffic.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Are you asking if there is anything brighter than the MotoVision?
Some have installed bulbs which have heat sinks.
They claim much brighter.
Can't speak to how useful they are, or aren't,  for actual night riding on a street.
I ride at night a couple hundred times a year.
I need more than candle-power. I need a focused beam from a factory matched bulb and housing.
