« on: December 12, 2019, 04:19:28 PM »
Hi my disk has cracked so I have a new one. The only problem is 2 of the bolts have stripped heads (hex is now rounded) any advice on getting them out? Many thank

Hate when it does that! Soak with favorite penetrating liquid. Are those socket heads? TIG weld a hex head machine bolt on top of stuck head. I say TIG because a good TIG guy can get a strong joint without overheating the alloy the disc is mounted.

They are hex heads the disk is knackered so thinking of cutting it off the welding a nut on.
