That CVT case looks new! I accuse you of trailering that bike to all the places you take pictures!
Your comment reminds me of the time, years ago, when I lost a sale when selling my '77 Rabbit.
Had the sale all made, then the buyer's wife showed up that evening - took one look at my clean engine bay - pulled her husband aside and nixed the deal.
"He's had the engine steam cleaned - must be something very wrong with the engine!"
This car was my first water-cooled vehicle of any kind, and I enjoyed looking at the engine bay - and found it easy to keep the alloy block clean, rubber & plastics Armor All-ed, and paint waxed. That's somewhat harder to do with Beetles and Buses....though they were kept pretty clean as well.
Anyway - it was that young fellow's loss.
I like the finish on the metal parts of the Kymco and the Piaggio - easy to keep clean. Unlike the new Suzuki Bugman which seemed to be dissolving before my eyes from corrosion.
