I use Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline.
10% ethanol.
"0" issues with carbed mowers, or 4 EFI scooters.

I have 3 SHELL stations within 15 mins, all blends have 10%, or less, ethanol.
We don't need to argue about what each of us is using...just curious about what we are using in our various Kymcos.

It doesn’t cost too much to fill either my XT300i or my Street Triple so I use super unleaded,the premium petrol over here.

87 (R+M/2) 10% Ethanol no brand preference, cheapest price within reason. Only non-ethanol nearly 4 bucks at farmer co-op. Anything that sits over winter is either run dry or treated with Sta-bil magic elixer. Anything that sits long regardless of season get the same treatment (wife's scooter).

Used to live in a town with a non-ethanol option at a good price but not now. Tags were cheap, too. Property taxes way less....non-fattening...

No probs with 10% corn-o-hol. Don't like it but no problems.

After dealing with the effects of ethanol in small engines I use premium 0-E fuel in all my motorcycles and scooters and small engines. The truck I go through fuel fast enough it doesn't sit and absorb water.  I've got a picture of the inside of the carb from the people 150 that sat for years,  it was so bad I ended up replacing the carburetor.  I'll have to sit down and figure out how to post a picture on the forum. If you drain it the end of the season  or ride it you eliminate the issue of gas going stale. I also use Seafoam as a fuel stabilizer/cleaner. So far every used KYMCO I've bought I've needed to clean the carburetor except for the FI 250 xciting.

same here,  closest gas station is an Irving, and I tend to hit Irving stations, if not #2 choice is Shell, but I'm not fussy, if I need gas, I get what's available, and don't spring for mid grade or premium unless there is no choice

87 (R+M/2) 10% Ethanol here as well for the most part.
Non-Eth if I'm close and for winter storage of one bike that doesn't get out much.  It's pricey and inconvenient for minimal if any gain.
I did use higher octane on my former S200 during extremely hot freeway riding (WOT for hours) with what was probably a tight valve (set 'em a bit later, but it was showing signs) to keep it from pinging.
Beyond that I've done enough miles on both of my current rides to know that higher octane doesn't do much if anything.

2019 XTown 300i----I tend to use Shell Super, when available, otherwise super seems to work well-----since most of its miles are run at high speed and engine working hard......but it also seems to run on any reg, too.  Cost difference is little.    In US, hand book on required fuel not so clear, as there are 2 ways of rating fuel octane.….and they seem to go with higher----maybe new Euro 4 requirement, requires super-----if managers in the bike business rode everyday....things in hand books would be clarified!!

On trips I fuel often between 100 and 150 miles.  Haven't run out on road since Helix in NM ( camp stove gas got me to station) or Japan Hokkaido, Kawasaki 90----big hill let me coast into station.   I do not like to walk.  In N America only one place I know of where carrying spare gas is necessary, is the James Bay Road in Quebec. I think 240 miles to station.   Of course Vespas need to carry spare gas just to function daily in serous use.

I use what is recommended in the owner's manual on all my scoots (4 Vespa, 1 Kymco) which is >91 octane and that is usually ethanol free in this area.  I also use that in my lawn mowers and snowblower.

I always find it interesting that while I live in Iowa (home of corn and ethanol production) I can find ethanol free fuel at just about every gas station around. Usually it is in premium grade but I my go-to is my local Casey's General Store (convenience store) and their 87 octane NO ethanol fuel. Costs more than the ethanol blended fuel but still less than the premium.

The big reason I like using this one is that is has a dedicated hose for each fuel.

 I've read that the stations that have one hose on the pump for multiple fuels will likely have the 'other' or previously chosen fuel still in the line for a while.(how much, who knows?...quart, half gallon?)  Since most people around here use ethanol, and our bikes take such a small amount of fuel, it's likely you're getting some ethanol fuel even if you select the ethanol free premium. 

Not the end of the world but something I'd like to avoid if possible.

Lahawk I'm in complete agreement with you. Our Caseys took out the E-0 pump and put in Diesel pump. There is a chain called 24-7 that has a dedicated pump for E-0 regular fuel. We still have a independent that carries E-0 premium fuel with a dedicated pump. Another chain Yes way carries premium E-0 but does not have a dedicated pump .  There is a Web site that you can go to ethanol-free gas to show what stations carry the fuel in your area.

I use 95 Octane Premium unleaded. Never even tried anything else. The bike seems to like it, although I have no other experience to compare it with.
