Might add:   Scooters, Italian and German used to come with spare tires and wheels....and easy to get off rear wheels!! the 4 Vespas(two strokes) I had did and little prop to hold up rear when wheel was being removed.----but  at that time people still rode----Look at most bike shops today, employees come in pickups! Harley shops you might see some ride in to work.

Tube type Japanese only pulled out spot on tube and patched.   In city of Iwakuni, Japan---city, electric/water depts. had so many small Hondas as did police/post office/small businesses----big Honda shop I used had little girl, that all she did all day was repair punctures for these various users.

Personally, I am just glad that everyone is carrying something. When everyone carries something... and then a motorcyclist/scooterist gets a flat on the road.. there is almost always someone with the right stuff (eventually).  If I see someone (motorcycle/scooter/bicycle) who thinks that they might need some assistance, I ALWAYS stop.

same thing with my UXV450i, I wouldn't attempt inflating with CO2,  It's got a 20 amp/hr battery and fat tires

Not dissing anyone for the type of inflators they choose. I use to carry an electric pump.
Then I discovered co2 inflators. I prefer them. It is that simple.
For those that think they will not fill large scooter or motorcycle tires, you are mistaken. They will. Quickly and easily.
You can buy and carry as many cylinders as you want. Even the large cylinders are not very big and they weigh very little.
People that don`t know, don`t know.
The inflator I use has a trigger. Depress to inflate, release to stop air flow. It screws on to the valve stem so there is no air loss.
You can buy a mix match of sizes depending on your needs.
If someone decides to try co2 inflators, I recommend you buy the necessary equipment, deflate your tire in your garage or diveway.
Fill the tire with co2 canisters and you wil see exactly how much air you need for your tires.
Whatever you choose to use, have something in your pack for emergencies.

Yep, been using them for about 20 years now Boo and what a Godsend. I’ve recommended them to no end of riding buddies. On one memorable occasion they got me from one end of France to the other Just in time for a pre-booked ferry. Speeds? Er, a bit over the 50kph maximum advised for the tyre plug!
