One little point about ignition switched on, the volts show "11.x?" Should be 12.6 basically no load with fully charged battery. Least it is on mine (X2).

I guess it depends on exactly where the the volt meter has been connected to. If not direcly to the battery, the lower reading could be the result of a voltage drop at the point where the volt meter has been connected to - while the reading at the battery itself could still be 12.6 Volts.
Remember -even  thin wires in the harness down the line can also cause lower voltage readings down the line.

Checked the battery's voltage and it was 12.something with it off and 14.something on and a bit higher at 3000 rpms.

OP since you have said you have trouble starting over, try wiggling the connectors on the start solenoid and the starter motor, as well as the relays behind the windshield cover

Minimum voltage with no load: 12.3 volts. Fully charged, no load: 13.0 volts. If your battery show less than 12.3 volts it's in need of charging or it's NG.
