Headlight trim fell off while riding. Help!
« on: April 18, 2020, 11:57:37 PM »
Hello everyone! I’m new to the forum. I have a 2007 people 150. The headlight housing has always been kind of loose. So consequently, after a ride a noticed that the round silver piece of trim that goes around the headlight itself was missing. Must have fallen off during the ride and I didn’t notice. What a bummer. I retraced my steps and I couldn’t find it sitting on the road anywhere :( I looked everywhere online and I can’t find that piece anywhere. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on one? Or does someone have a spare one they can sell? I attached some before and after pictures to clarify which part I’m talking about. Thank you!

Sorry about the loss. I've lost various covers as well. Good news is, it is a cheap part if you can find one. I found a listing for it on ebay but the seller was out of stock. Anyhow, here is the link and I will keep an eye out for any for sale.

Thanks for the help! Would you happen to know if that part off of a 50cc would also work for my 150cc? I found one online here: https://www.racingplanetusa.com/handlebar-bowden-cables-mirrors-p-68989-1.html?backcPathco=390&cPath=2_18#.XpvqWCVlCEc

Part number MX4079

Thanks!

If it's the same year, I  bet it would fit.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I know that same part number fits the Sting 50.
