Got a kit from an ebay seller autotech 355. 50mm piston, 82cc. Is a big improvement but she is holding out on me. I think she wants a massage.

This is the scoot as she stands today. The top box was $90 from our, at the time, Kymco dealer, the brand is BUG, who distribeted these scoots in Australia at the time. It is cheap and nasty, one hinge breaks off if you close the lid onto something with any sort of pressure. Which is why I don't put my fullface helmet in there any more. When the hinge breaks, I just grab the trusty soldering iron and fix it. It is too handy to not have.

Yes, for two vehicles made in such far away places, it is amazing how close they are.
That is the car that I just had the whole dash panel out of a couple months ago. That was a very scary proposition. I also found out my problem, thanks to art. My steering wheel is on the wrong side.

what up sid?  yeah, the bbk may be easy for you again...i couldnt do it.... you had to get techy with that kit for awhile..           my scoot dam near matches my blazer also...whats up with that??.  scoots and cars matching..b

If you got a kit like that and had that sort of trouble, the information to sort it out is here now, it has been done.
When we were looking for a scooter, Mrs. Sid wanted a red one, but this was the only one for sale in the state. It was quite funny, we drove 400 kms to buy it from a dealer, they didn't have it cleaned up for sale, it was out the back. He started it up and I took it for a ride, a very weird experience, i had never ridden a scooter before. As they were a dealer, I got to ride the demo one which had about 170kms on it. They wanted $1,500 for it, he dropped to $1,300, when I offered $1,200, he was not impressed, his whole demeanour changed. I must have insulted him, I paid the $1,300. Gotta love salesmen.

all that machine work would be most of my problem, then the cyl. raising and lowering...        oh yeah, you mentioned splitting the cases... for the intake inlet? i think that is one of  our problems.. thats TINY.......and the variator..

I have the cases open now, so there is no going back.

Sadly, she don't look so good now, engine in many pieces, all over the shed.
