I have XTown 300i 2019----my 11th maxiscooter since 1990, over 400,000 miles with them----I do not believe is making a lot of changes as my bikes are bought to ride----and I hate troubles on trip.  Windshield on mine--Puig Touring cut 4 inches, Laminar Lip=fairly quiet, buffet free ride.   Mine works with either Givi E-46 box or smaller Bestem $40 box bolted directly to rear wing-----electrical stuff I would not or do not add--Standard LED head and tail lite just fine.

As the bike seems to me to be tire sensitive, maybe from get go, set of Michelin Power Pure SC tires.  CAT yellow O Ring can be used as cruise control or throttle stop---fresh oil often, as no filter and small crankcase capacity  change oil  often---WalMart 10-40 works fine.   10,000 miles so far, bike is high quality, but one needs to remember, it is heavy and engine really stretched 250.
