Nice jobs, scooterfan and JJJoseph!
Thanks, another photo of the top box can be seen below. I actually decided to mount the top box a bit higher, for two reasons:
1. I just thought the scooter would look a bit better in general.
2. My two local granddaughters often wants to go for a ride, and I thought a higher top box might ad some safety and support them better.
I am a member of several motorcycle groups and got in contact with a guy who designed a stunning bracket for his motorcycle's top box. The bracket has hinges and a back rest in front of the top box. During a solo ride the whole setup can be moved forward to support the rider's back. With two-up the whole setup can be hinged backwards to the top box's normal position . The guy's design is a brilliant idea, and I think he can make a fortune just by patenting this design. He sent me some videos, photos, and even drawings of his design. I am thinking of adapting his idea for a similar setup on my scooter whenever I have time in future.
I will upload and forward some photos of the guy's setup to show what it looks like.
