Paint codes

Any know the paint codes for Kymco's Matt Silver Crystal or equivalents? Need some for a panel repair.

I don't know off hand but you could probably call a kymco dealer and get it through the vin.

Good luck with that , Kymco doesn't have paint codes. I had to go to a auto parts store that sells automotive paint and have them TRY to match it. It would be nice if they offered touch up paint.

I know some places have color scanners for the official standardized paint code. Not sure what places have them though.

My post above that was what I was referring to the color scanners, sometimes there not even close. Tried to match the white on my Kymco people 150 off white  and it was to yellow. You can look through their paint chips and probably come up with a color that's close.

I've managed to find a code for Matt Silver Crystal - it's NH263FA. The issue now is to find an equivalent. Trial and error with Dupli-Color I guess - maybe Blue Mountain?

I've good success using auto paint suppliers who can match colors by scanning your existing parts. Most big shops can do this, or point you to someone who does this.  Not perfect, but close enough to stand up to close inspection!
