Kymco Maxer Mobility Scooter EQ40DA
« on: April 03, 2020, 06:48:52 AM »
Hi can anyone help me as I'm trying to find out where the fuses are on my Kymco Maxer Mobility Scooter EQ40DA as my lights and hooter have given up working. Where the fuse box is located they are not in there, so I assume they must be fitted elsewhere.
Due to COVID-19 our local mobility shop is closed...

Morning,

There is a seperate fuse for the ancillaries - see page 44 here

https://www.wheeliegoodmobility.co.uk/user/Diagram%20directory/Kymco-Mobility-Scooter-parts-diagram-EQ40DA(UK).pdf

But I don't know where it is. My instinct would say... is there a glove box or something in the panel in front of your knees? Could it be at the back of there?

It's a standard automotive blade fuse by the look of it.

I've been told from someone else online where the fuses were, and they are behind the front tiller panel, where there is a bank of 5 automotive fuses.
I removed the front panel and then the fuse box cover and found that one had blown and replaced it and now my lights and horn are back up and running.
Thank you Viper234 for pointing towards where they were.👍🏻??😎
