Juno21 on another thread posted that cyclepedia.com offers kindle service manuals for about ten bucks! So I looked on Amazon Kindle and found bunches of these things! Now that is the way you do it! It might be a pain to print it but that is an option. The cost difference is substantial so if it is a waste one has not lost much.

Only issue with that is if you don't have a printer. Would be a cost savings to some people though.

Good point but like me, super tightwad I am, still use the tablet for checking the manual. It is like looking through a keyhole!
The big drawback of most printers is printing one side only!

I got my Service book from dealer--all bound and ready to use. Kymco manuals are not the best, but work.

Long trips I carry it with me....just in case.

Forgot what I paid.

All I have is a tablet as well. I became disillusioned with my last laptop that I paid a lot of money for only to have it fail shortly after warranty ran out. The repair service said I could replace it cheaper then fixing it.  Had a wireless printer that failed in short order as well. Tablet has been super reliable and use it in the truck for a GPS as well.  I bought hard copies for my scooters from Cyclepedia.

On my People S 250 that I plan on rebuilding I found a used Kymco manual on ebay for not much money.
