Far as CG wear on big wheel scoots go I can claim real good life on 2 SYMs and a Kymco.
I just replaced a rear on the mainSYM at around 12-13k.  It still had tread left, but I'd taken a nail and there was some belt damage from that incident so it just wasn't quite the same after.  The Front's fine but I may end up replacing it on age.

The Kymco S200 had about 6k on it, all but 500 on the CG, it was going strong, no issues on front or rear.  I sold it after that so no clue.
I tortured those tires with thousands of hot freeway miles.  They did great in the the Dragon too!!
The secondary SYM has about 5k on a set of CGs.  They're 5 years old so they get inspected, but are fine (garage stored in the damp PNW).

Basically I'm a fan; albeit I'm curious about the Angels since they appear to have been created to compete head to head with the CG, complete with better siping.
I note the CG 2, not quite in this country yet, has similar siping to the Angel.   I liked the old one, so I'm real curious about the new ones.

As user of over 400 motorcycle/scooter tires since 1955---I am aware of one rear tire right now that wears ROUND and lasts a long time----Michelin Power Pure SC, if you find one that fits your scooter, you should be happy.   For me, I hate rear tires that wear square, and may affect handling or feel in their life time.

Something else riders should be complaining about=the amount of mickey mouse to remove rear wheel from scooter. I equals real pain in butt!  And to think scooters used to come with spare wheel (European) and easy remove wheels.   I am on 11th new maxi scooter since 1990 and rear wheel removal the same pain---I think at least one model BMW scooter has one sided rear wheel removal.....and to think power unit is Kymco, but not the price.

I accelerate hard from lights and sit way back on my GV 250's and get around 5000 miles on a rear tire, 10K on a front. Perhaps that's why?

I got 20000km out of my City Grips. Still have them somewhere in the garage. I'll take a picture of them tomorrow.

The ones that are on the scoot now have 13000+km.

These are my City Grips with 20000km.
Still have them because sometimes I need to take the fuel tank off my motorcycle, so I put it on these tires.
Got the rear down to the wear mark, the front was still ok, but the tires had very bad grip on the wet the last few thousand km.
