Select PHBG Needle sheet I made
« on: September 08, 2020, 05:23:41 PM »
Hey y'all long time no talk. I'm working on retuning my LIKE70 2t setup. In doing so I just bought a needle kit. To understand the differences between the needles I made a spreadsheet of the diameters vs length of the needle. Larger diameter at a given point should mean less fuel more air vs a smaller diameter of a given point meaning more fuel less air.

Here are the variables defined, D and E and do not apply to PHBG needles:

My chart is attached. Also good other dimensional info is here

Looks like tip of needle to first clip is 39mm but I will measure that myself. I also want to find out how far below the clip 1/2-3/4 throttle is located. No idea if this stuff is useful but cheers!

I added a gradient to see if that helped visualize the rates of change and relative sizes. The specific colors mean nothing though. Maybe it will help get a feel for the taper, I dunno

I tried another gradient system. The previous was a gradient with all values considered. This one is gradients within tips that end in the same value. I am having too much fun now.
