Friday night is take out night and ours was Thai from the local (8 miles) restaurant. This was the scooter before the takeaway tipped in the top box en route home. [emoji2959]

I frequent a Japanese food truck in McPherson that just closed for the season yesterday. They always put my food in a container then in a plastic bag.

I would be disappointed to get home to find a mess. Hope it was only one container so you had some food.

Funny food story, just not at the time. I had gone to my favorite smoked meat restaurant 30 miles from my house and picked up a pound of smoked brisket to make sandwiches. I set it on the counter to use the restroom when I got home. Evidently it was to tempting to the Collies and they were just finishing up when I came out of the restroom. I had to settle for a bologna sandwich while they had smoked brisket.

Learned my leason, I now  purchase enough for them as well.

I can feel your pain I once picked up Curry Chicken at our favorite Chinese restaurant and put it in the top case. When I got home the styrofoam container had shifted and curry sauce was everywhere. It took a lot of paper towels and de-odorizer to clear the mess.

Lol. We have a Siberian Husky who’s a renowned counter surfer and we’ve learned the hard way to put tempting items right at the back!

My current Collies won't bother my food on the table or counter and Sawyer is tall enough to rest his head on the table.  I did have a notorious counter surfer myself, a rescue Collie named Cooper. Sadly he passed at 4 years old from oral cancer.  I tried to break him of the habit by covering the counter with mouse traps with food behind them. It turned into a game of getting the food without setting off the traps. I  literally had the counter full of mouse traps until I got snapped trying to make coffee in the morning. I gave up and stored food in the frig or in a cabnet because anything on the counter or table was fair game.

Yes, that's the phrase, fair game!  Our other pooch is a big lad (he can stand with his forepaws on my shoulders and I'm 6'), but he's really good about not taking stuff off the table / counters.  He just stands there in a pool of drool...

I put a pizza in a top box once.... every time after that, I would balance the pizza(s) on the gas tank, held there from sliding off with my forearms , proved to be a much better way to transport pizza on a motorcycle

By far the best way to transport a pizza on a motorcycle is to consume it.
