Red neck repair
« on: October 11, 2010, 01:30:43 AM »
Went for a scoot ride with about 9 others today and we were about 60 miles away from home when
one of the scoots broke down.his nut game lose from hes variator because it got striped out.
the only way of fixing was to put a ring from a key ring on it to make it tight to stay on we had no washer or other nuts with us. he made it almost home then it came lose again he was about 10 miles from home so he went about 40 miles like that. he was luckey.

There's a fine line between redneck repair and MacGyver ingenuity.

I'm thinking that repair was closer to MacGyver....
