this might be a little bit lenghty but to keep the forum smile too.
Like l wrote in an another topic, l got hands on a motorwrecked LIKE 125s.
The story goes:
Got a call from my sister, who lives in eastern Austria. "Hi Ruffus, there in a friends gardenshed leans a motorcycle which looks, apart from color, very similar to yours and the guys want to get rid of it ASAP".
"OK, please take some pics and show me what you saw".
A few minutes later pics arrived, we, my sister and friends agreed that l would pick it up.
Since l live in Italy it is a six hour drive to this place. Started beefing up standard car toolbox, and to think how to carry the scoot. My Volvo V70 is actually not a small Van but just a little bit too short to accommodate a Like as a whole with wheels on and so.
Additionally l did not want to destroy cars interiour with the cycle.
Mrs. Ruffus eyed me somehow suspiciousely upon my preps.
Arriving at mentioned gardenshed at approximately 8° Celsius l went to work.
After two hours of intensive screwing (removing bolts and nuts of course) it was basically done and the scoot ready to be shipped (car-ed) to Italy.
