I think the LIKE200i was introduced to the USA in 2010. And it looks like they are not offered for 2021.
Colors:
"Back in the day"....we had cream w/brown seat; blue/black, and red with black seats. And the blue and white LX model w/chromed passenger grips and white piped seat trim. (a $100 premium)
There also was a two-cycle and a 4-cycle 50cc.
Options were the crash-bar set, 'sport' mirrors , windscreen, and a (sandwich bag?) underseat bag of dubious value.
Initially Europe (and S. America and Asia) got the 125 version as well, and a green/white LX version - with several other cool black and chrome options offered by an Italian firm.
ISSUES:
a small % of 2012 LIKE200i models were fitted with a faulty batch and developed issues with the throttle position sensor - which if caught within the 2 yr warranty were replaced free of charge. There was no recall for this problem - as it seemed to be a rare occurrence - with a very few members here reporting in.
A couple of owners have reported a rotted pick-up line connected to the pump within the fuel tank. This seemed to be related to letting the scoot sit, unused, for a long time. Problems associated with this were loss of pressure, clogged fuel line, and possibly a clogged injector.
ONE RECALL: 2018 LIKE200i models had a potential fuel leak at the clamps of the high pressure fuel line - at the tank or the injector.
Tighten the clamp a turn or two was the solution.
This scooter has had a good run.
I've had mine for 8 seasons of year around riding - in the rain, and in temps ranging from 3°F to 104°F.
High points are the instant EFI starts, powerful brakes, the over-all quality of the panels and mechanical bits ....and the ease of routine servicing (including valve checks!!)
Like most Kymco owners - I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
