Mmm.  I suspect most of the "older people" on this forum buy a scooter and ride it to within an inch of it's life lol
 

I think even on this forum with the exception of John G most people trade it off on something new before it even gets close to the end of its life.  That would be a interesting thread in itself.

You may have a point KK, that actually describes my transition from PCX125 to X-Town 300 quite accurately!  In my own defence, there were some very particular shortcomings in the Honda which prompted the trade in.  Will have to see if I hang onto the X-Town once Covid is done with us?  My track record with my last motorcycle was a 19-year tenure though; I only sold it when my crook back forced me to...
