On 0:52 time, you see my home on the right side, first floor  8). I was at the hoods when this happened. The bike was Suzuki Intruder borrowed by drivers, who was on drugs, friend. Bikes clutch burnt while escaping and must be paid for the owner, said court among few more comments too. Driver got jail for his performance itself.
There was question by the audience, why didnt the police gave up from the chase for security reasons, they knew the drivers id, but we didnt have answer that could make sense. My lucky harrison/stetson guess is, that there was drugs on board about to sell and needed to make immediatly confiscation.

Interesting background information, thanks for that.

In the UK I suspect pursuit guidelines for police would have them aborting the chase after 5 minutes for fear of a bystander getting killed or seriously injured!

On 5:07, when police bike hits the idiots bike and rightside bag drops off, its a miracle that nobody falls, among other miracles during the show. IMHO i still do not understand at all, why police didnt gave up the chase. But I dont question the police workmanship, just wondering.
One thing more: Police bike was propably Yamaha YZF-R1. When it enters my home street with speedlimit 30 kmh, you can hear how it speeds the second gear like 10 000 rpm, means the speed must be like nearer 150 kmh than 100 kmh.

A bit more than 30 km, about, I guess. Mile is 1.609 km.

I was beginning to think they would run out of fuel before the chase was over.  Darn sure I wouldn't run from the Helsinki police with that kind of tenacity.  Of course it would be the shortest chase in history if I was on my Kymco, LOL
