Talk tire balance beads to me

Getting ready to send a scooter in for new tires.
The shop has been in business for years - they do not have a balance machine for scooter wheels.
I've watched many state vehicles being balanced on a machine for dynamic balancing at the county garage - (they install tires on high-speed pursuit police vehicles) I doubt any cycle/scooter shop carries such an expensive piece of equipment.
Some of you are quite passionate (didn't use the a word) about scooter tire balancing....so - what do you think about me sending along a couple of packs of DynBeads with my scooter for its tire installation? The beads I guess replicate dynamic balancing once in motion?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Give them a two-ounce baggie of airsoft balls to dump in the casing before they set the beads. Cheaper than Dynabeads, quieter than BB's when you pushing around the driveway.
I'm big on BB's but airsoft for me next tire!
