Ordered a couple pair of Bull-it SR6 riding jeans to replace my 8yrs old armored & kevlar Sliders jeans. I understand that Kevlar breaks down over time and use. Not as much a problem with the Covec which line these jeans.
Purchased 2 sizes - with the option of free returns - since I can't try these on at the local motorcycle shop.
I required 2 things in my riding pants: knee and hip pad pockets (for my D30 armor/pads); kevlar lining in the hip, thighs and seat.
For rain or winter riding I'll layer with Frogtogs over-pants.
I ride early in the day - so heat is never a problem.
These Bull-it jeans have much more Covec (from NASA) coverage than my Slider's kevlar areas.
Youtube has some crazy "slid tests" of riders wearing these jeans with the Covec coverage.
On my 22 >38MPH scooter cruises these should work just fine...and priced much lower than the orig. $200 when they debuted 6 or 7yrs ago.
Nice colors.....
Stig ....BTW-
I never ride without wearing armored jeans. I'll give a ride report after I try them.
