1st Mods to my LIKE when new (in 2013)

Just passed the 8 year anniversary of my LIKE200iLX's first modifications.
The scooter was 2 weeks old when I received and installed the Kymco crash bars, April of 2013.
The front fender crash bars to complete the set had yet to arrive from Texas.

The very first issue I attended to were the addition of functional mirrors, for safety...but they were much harder to find, so were fitted a little later that summer (2013)
Long stemmed Italian FAR mirrors from an eBay seller - requiring adapters for proper threading.

Later that summer/fall I gave up the fight and attacked the main item which was cutting my riding time to 20 min stints. The stock seat was too painful to stay aboard longer than 20>30 ins. Sitting the stock seat even before purchasing I knew it was going to need to be dealt with. The issue was the ridge in the under-foam seat pan. My rebuild is truly ugly - but it is so da__n comfortable I've never regretted it. I added height and width to the seat.

The last item was to add the lighted Bestem top case for it's LED DRL's and brake lights....for safety.

Later items were 14gm Dr Sliders, a distinctive orange tinted Halogen headlight bulb and 5w incandescent amber front running lights replacing the 3W bulbs. (these are very bright & add to the "a motorcycle is coming" look to approaching drivers)

The rear carries a battery powered blinking LED red fixture for riding in fog or rain.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
