Because I needed this when a big dog suddenly trotted in front of my Liberty150i this morning, in the rain.
This was the very first time I used every bit of that ABS braking - and did manage to stay out of this big guy's ribs!
Pouring rain, riding about 33MPH (indicated) - full daylight coming home - I'd just crested a hill - he never saw me until the last moment. Neither did I.
After I gathered myself - - I glanced over and saw his owner way across her front yard with her hands over her mouth.
Thank you Lord! I feel bad enough if I wing a squirrel. He was a pretty dog, golden lab, I think.
*Didn't take the LIKE because I remembered I hadn't yet corrected the PSI in the front tire to 26 from the 29lbs I mistakenly put in last week.
Even with the Michelins - I'm pretty sure I would have collected that dog on that wet road.
Daughter keeps telling me to stop working my Angels so hard. That dog needs to be more considerate of his, too.
