time zone adjustment help
« on: May 07, 2021, 12:27:20 PM »
How do I adjust my settings so that the forum shows the correct time for ME?  I am currently showing time about 6 hours ahead of my actual.

click your 'profile' button up top.

On the left under 'modify profile' click on 'look and layout'

You then adjust your time offset (difference from Greenwich mean time?)

I'm in Central standard time in the US. My offset is -5.

There's also an 'auto detect' button next to it...may automatically adjust your time? Not sure..

eamartin, I see you're in MO so we're both at -5 for the time offset.

Thanks, Iahawk.  I'm in Colorado for the summer so -6 did the trick.

Eh?

You know...
Think about it...

"Well, I'll Be Da$$'d"

Then again, I could be wrong about that.
This was an issue I also noted when I first signed on and found the time offset early on. Similar to some security video camera software settings I was managing at my last job.
