Finally!!

10 weeks for Kymco to come up with a fuel pump for my exciting 500. With zero communication. Half my riding season shot. You can't buy just the pump, either. You have to buy the whole assembly, so the bill was 365 bucks to get it done. I'm not unhappy with the dealer, but I will not consider another Kymco. Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha are all selling scooters.

Kymco only sells the whole assembly for my Like200i as well.
So, I took some measurements. Went on ebay and swapped into the assembly a same size Yamaha motorcycle fuel pump ...(@$45?)
Been running fine for 7yrs now.

I would be grumped as you! Stig's fix on the fuel pump is applicable to several models since they all seem to use the same fuel pump. Just the assembly is different.

I searched pretty hard & did not find a pump that seemed it would fit or work. Some of them did not offer enough pressure, either. I had already blew the money and a month on an aftermarket pump that turned out to not be stout enough.
