I have a 3 inch rubber tube in the shape of an L coming off the top of my carb and pointing to the front of the scooter, but it's not connected to anything. Anyone know what it is?

Pls see pic.
It's the support air hose to make your carb diaphragm work properly.
Try (running motor) to pinch it close, motor will struggle and eventually stop.
