Tank vent and evap cannister
« on: November 16, 2010, 09:29:09 PM »
Anyone know where these are located on the Yager? Also, how does the gas cap vent?

Wow, Karl. I hope you found them. Wonder where all the Yager riders are?

Hey, thanks for the reply! I think they are out there but like my Yager, theirs ain't broke yet. I asked this question since my wife's Buddy 150 puked out because of a stuck tank vent valve and a corrupted carbon canister. I was trying to get a jump on the inevitable conk out.

That's a good idea! Hope you got your wife's scoot all straight now. I was wondering, Karl, did you ever find a manual for the Yager? I've never seen the Yager, but I would love to have a look at it. Yes, they must be pretty good since not many folks have come in here with problems or questions about them yet. :)

Thanks, again. Yep, the Buddy runs great with no conk outs. I have not seen any books on the Yager and the dealer(s) i have been in contact do not seem to have any either.

Good to hear the scoots are running well.

Well, I tried again, Karl. I'm not having any luck locating with that manual. I found some dealer price lists in PDF form online from Japan and Germany. I sent off an email to one and asked them about a manual. Who knows, maybe we will have more luck asking about one overseas. If I could read Japanese, German and about a half dozen other languages I might be able to find out where to get one. Truth is, somedays I have a hard time with the English language. Anyways, I tried and I will let you know if I find anything on it. :)
