Hose Dangling On Kymco B&W 250

I just noticed there is a hose that hangs down from my engine. I don't remember seeing it before. The scooter seems to run just fine. Could it be some kind of vent hose?

@Togger, check out whether this hose comes from your airfilter housing and has a plug on its lower end. In that case it's the condensate accumulator ("puke tube") and has to be emptied once in a while.

if you have a carb it could be the bowl drain tube.
