I converted my P250 lights to running lights using a trailer signal converter from Wal-Mart.

Let me know if you are willing to cut some wires and take some chances on wiring changes.

This is what my front end looks like with my "running light" turn signals.

I have installed both LEDs and Strobes in that position, (not at the same time, one then the other) but both were kinda cheap and didn't last long. Make sure whatever you use they are good quality as they are a PITA to change. I have mine apart to pain right now and plan to put some type of lighting there but haven't decided what. I also have put LED side markers, the small ones for trailers ect., on the fork where the round reflectors were. I had tried fog lights but they took too much juice and killed my battery.

Good luck
