Battery tender
« on: September 20, 2021, 10:26:13 PM »
I have a battery tender I use for my John Deere garden tractor. If I park my scooter next to it, and run jumper wires, will one battery tender keep both batteries charged over the winter?

Not a good idea. Good way to ruin two batteries.   Battery tenders are  cheap or charge one take it off and top off the other.

Ride one, snow plow with the other😊
Yeah, alternate topping them up between rides.

@mrmike, just make both of them a pigtail at a convenient spot, so it's a few seconds to change the battery tender from one vehicle to the other.
I usually fit my rides with a 12V socket directely to the battery with a fuse in the + cable.
