That's the price they have to pay for having a sorrowfree and protected live from kindergarden until they finish any kind of study. Once out there in the free world, other rules apply.

Unless they're reared in a cave - during their first 20 yrs youngsters are certainly not "protected" from the world adults are fashioning.
My 6 children were educated in both private and public schools - and each found one thing to be a constant.
During conversations in school classrooms & hallways, on sports fields, and across the lunch tables - their classmates were invariably parroting the prejudices and attitudes and demeanor which they had learned at the family dinner table from adults.
(where the adults were getting it - is a whole 'nother argument)

For better or worse - adults have a trickle down effect, I think you'll agree.
The world could do with a little more Kindness in 2022.
