OK we’ll have to differ on this. Contributors on here offering time and considerable expertise for free are to be applauded, not sniped at IMO. Stick around and you’ll see plenty of instances where even arcane problems are successfully diagnosed and fixes suggested!

You say? If the scoot drives fine , you change oil and dies, what are the chances to be something that bad?

who said anything about a catastrophic failure? OP changed oil and scoot wouldn't start. We all know changing oil (as long as you refill with oil) does not affect starting. So you logically go down a checklist of fuel, air, spark and compression...after those you start reaching a bit..valve adjustment...whatever else was suggested.  Turns out he 'cleaned' his air filter with brake clean or carb clean...that was the issue. So it was an 'air' issue. Lots of scooter issues are silly...you just have to eliminate each possibility until you find the correct one.

Sounds like vacuum pipe may have come off it goes to the fuel tap under seat and on to cylinder head. It needs it to make fuel tap turn on. Your problem sound like no petrol in carburettor.
