My fav kind of riding day - heavy overcast!
« on: April 01, 2022, 11:15:44 AM »

High wind warnings yesterday as I rode out in the dark for coffee - and after sunrise it remained nice and overcast.
Makes my hi viz very visible and no sun glare to deal with (myself or my fellow drivers!)

Yellow Springs used to be a very liberal college town - while the town remains a (maybe the) liberal oasis in heavily republican Ohio -  Antioch is only a shadow of its former life.

Yesterday was the first ride of 2022 when I was able to skip the Japanese thermal shirt, the rain over-pants and the battery heated gloves!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

the scoot sure pops in the pics on overcast days. Love the college background...I live in a college town and have always enjoyed seeing and feeling the vibe in other college towns. Something about 1000s of young adults learning, questioning and trying to find their place in the adult world.
