A riding/camping event

Just returned from a moto/camping trip to Wisconsin Riverside Resort in Spring Green, WI. Only 689 miles. I arrived on Wednesday just after lunch time and left Sunday morning. We had a bad storm with a tornado warning Wednesday dinner time but that only lasted a few hours while we were eating in the resort restaurant so just waited it out inside. After that it was sunny and low to mid 80s every other day. Great riding weather. Rode around Friday joining the larger group riders at Log Cabin Family Restaurant in Baraboo (pic at table). Should have gone riding more but got lazy on Saturday and bummed around the camp. I think there were 17 riders that showed up, a few only for a day. Most of them in tents, one in an RV (served up biscuits and gravy for breakfast a few mornings) and a few in local motels. Great riding around lower Wisconsin. Here is a link to some pics. The guy trying out the narrow sling chair is our host for this event (Kevin). He called that thing a "thong chair" and it was one that he ended up with many years ago because the camper who originally brought it to a past event didn't like it and left it behind. Kevin had almost a dozen items he was giving away to clean out what he had accumulated over the years doing this event. A few tents, several chairs, and there were one or two other items. I ended up with one of the camp chairs. Figured it might come in handy as a spare if mine broke. I got the blue "Go4Free" branded chair with the taller back pad. It's in one of the pics where there are only two chairs with no one sitting in them (the blue one on the right). I put my tarp over my tent initially but before the storm hit on Wednesday evening the wind started coming so strong I was thinking it might blow off the poles so I took it down and put it away for the rest of the camp. My tent is designed to weather severe storms all alone anyway so all was fine with that.
