vacation experence and sound system install
« on: September 06, 2022, 03:31:52 AM »
Hello everyone, Just got done traveling to the Dominiquin Republic and let me just say I have never seen so many people riding dirtbikes and scooters in my life. Almost everyone there uses them as a daily mode of transportation. One guy in particular when we were traveling home had three people on it Plus the rear passenger was carrying a car tire, Wish I would have gotten a picture but didnt get the chance to.

We took a day trip on A speed boat to Saona Island where we swam in crystal clear water and swam with starfish. I particularly enjoyed the boat ride because we listened to native Music from the Dominiquin; that got my wheels turning, why not install speakers on my scooter. I took some mesurements and found these will fit in the upper front cowel area

Problem is that Im afraid that the system will drain the battery when hooked up; I would wire it to the ignition so it only gets power when the scooter is on so I do not forget to turn the sound system off but I am afraid It will drain my battery seeing as I only take small trips. Debating if I should purchace this system or just rig together a Bluetooth speaker. Anyone ever have issues with installing a sound system or other components that draw battery voltage. Charging system on my scooter works fine as well.

I don't have any experience with speakers on a scoot or bike...but I will continue to promote using a bluetooth com unit in your helmet with speakers. Stream music from your phone and the sound is fantastic. That's my 2 cents!
